Excellent service!
Japan Wifibuddy made my experience in Japan much more easier. Although the Diamond package was a little bit pricey, it was well worth it. Their customer service was great and gave me very specific instructions on how and where to pick up the device at the airport. The device worked well with no problems all around Tokyo. I was also getting great signal underground while using the subways. The device's battery life lasted me throughout the whole day but they also provided me an external battery just in case. Overall, I am happy with the service and I'll definitely use the same package when I come back to Japan. Thanks!

Great Experience!
Easy peasy! Japan WifiBuddy made my wife and my trip to Japan all the more flawless. We stayed connected at every turn. It's an excellent service I would 10/10 use them again.

Initial trouble with receiving device; service worked very well
The device was not ready for pick-up at the hotel due to an issue with the delivery. This meant we could not use the device on the first day of our holiday. However, when we received the device it worked well. The connection speed was outstanding. Battery life however was quite limited (less than one day) and we had to reboot the device every once in a while.

Worked great!
Never ran out of wifi but I was on the highest plan think I only used about 30gb a day between 3 people. That was including YouTube. Would use again for sure. Sometimes wifi would not register if it was buried too deep in my bag so I would just move it and touch the side button and it was fine. it worked on the 5th station at Mount Fuji so I am happy. 5 stars.

  • These are data-only SIM Cards. Carrier-based voice calls and text messaging are NOT supported. However, data-based messaging and telephony solutions such as Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp, Line etc. are supported.
  • To avoid provider validation complications, in some cases when users order far ahead of their actual trip, we will send a confirmation email, with a separate QR code later on, closer to the departure date.
