This was the best purchase for my Japan trip. Had wifi access the whole time which meant googling places and checking maps super easy. Very reliable and airport pick up and drop off was really convenient. This was the envy of my entire tour group!

It worked as advertised. I would recommend it. If I visit Japan again I get it. I am not sure if they operate in other countries but if they do I will use it.

Perfect product. Well priced. Amazing service. The battery pack and included cables and wall sockets were great. We got stuck in Japan longer than expected but extending the service was no problem. Return was easy. Couldn't have done without it!

I rented out a Diamond WiFiBuddy for 7 weeks whilst I was teaching English in Japan. I was travelling around the country, so good coverage was important. I found that I could use my WiFiBuddy anywhere, and the few times (about 4 times in 7 weeks) that the WiFi stopped working, a simple restart did the trick. If you want to use your WiFiBuddy for the whole day, I recommend that you charge it halfway through each day at an outlet if possible. I left the house at 8am and returned, usually, at 11pm, and it makes a BIG difference in terms of safety to have it fully charged during the day, and have the back-up battery (which is of excellent capacity, if heavy) reserved for figuring out the metro on your way back home.
