Great product and service!
I bought 2x unlimited wifi mobile from WifiBuddy and had no problem with connection during our stay in Japan. I needed to extend the stay in Japan so that I requested the extended days to hire the Wifi and they swiftly sorted out my request. First class product and customer service.

Excellent concept & sure helped keep our data costs down. Unfortunately you only had the diamond package left and we didn’t come close to using that much data. Will use you again when we travel to Japan.

Great product
The wifi buddy is a must have for travelling around japan. I tried to use the wifi around the city in maccas and starbucks and train stations etc last year but found them to be unreliable and hard to use. This year i travelled with the wifi buddy and it was better than my hotel wifi. i had service everywhere i went and the battery lasts most of the day but the backup battery can last the rest of the day just need to charge it all up again at night. i have recomended these to friends going in a few weeks and would recomend them to anyone who asks. A must have when travelling Japan.

You have to have one of these on your trip to Japan!!
We picked up our Diamond WifiBuddy at Narita Airport just as instructed when we reserved and paid for the rental online. We had absolutely NO problems with it! It proved invaluable on our trip and this company was so easy to work with :)

  • We include thorough instructions, via email, through our website and with customer service.
  • These are data-only SIM Cards. Carrier-based voice calls and text messaging are NOT supported. However, data-based messaging and telephony solutions such as Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp, Line etc. are supported.
  • To avoid provider validation complications, in some cases when users order far ahead of their actual trip, we will send a confirmation email, with a separate QR code later on, closer to the departure date.
