Amazing!
Truly fantastic service. Our WiFi was waiting at our hotel and worked almost instantly. I would've deducted one star because the battery life could use improvement, but they do include rapid rechargers with each WiFi and as long as you're prepared with them, they work great and keep you going. I wouldn't visit Japan without JapanWifiBuddy!

Mahalo Japan WiFi Buddy
Been using Japan WifiBuddy for the past 4 years on my yearly trip to Japan and will never use any other company! So easy to rent and price can’t be beat. This time around the router was waiting for me when I checked into my hotel and returning it is so convenient using the return envelope and dropping it off at a Japan Post outlet. I always recommend you guys to family and friends when traveling to Japan!

Awesome
Me and 3 friends rent this for 2 weeks and it was better than we expected. The delivery was very fast and the accesories that comes with it where really usefull. Without doubt we will rent the same again in the future.

Loved this WiFi!
My husband and I recently used this WiFi buddy all throughout our week long trip in Japan and we absolutely loved it! We had internet connection the entire trip even when traveling outside of the major cities. It was easy to pickup from the airport and then mail back from the airport upon our departure as well. We would highly recommend it!

Thanks for the wifi bug
This thing worked the way I wanted to. However, I had issues with it being spotty in certain areas. Didn't realize until it was too late that it wouldn't work inside Makuhari Messe. I also had problems with it around Shibuya, close to Hachiko. Regardless, I am happy with the service and will get it again.

Specifications
  • Requires a SIM Unlocked device with esim capability. If your device is locked, please contact your carrier to unlock it.
  • We include thorough instructions, via email, through our website and with customer service.
  • These are data-only SIM Cards. Carrier-based voice calls and text messaging are NOT supported. However, data-based messaging and telephony solutions such as Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp, Line etc. are supported.
  • To avoid provider validation complications, in some cases when users order far ahead of their actual trip, we will send a confirmation email, with a separate QR code later on, closer to the departure date.
