Very easy process. The rate was super affordable for the length of time. The device was new and the service was perfect.

We used our WiFi buddy for 17 days while in Japan. It worked immediately upon opening and was used up until the moment we placed it in the envelope to ship back. We did not get a signal while in tunnels or in more rural areas but that was to be expected. The only improvement I could ask for is the range to be greater. There were 4 of us connected and we had to be pretty close to the person carrying the WiFi buddy. Cost was cheap compared to what my carrier wanted to charge for international use. Would rent it again if we ever travel Japan again.

We ordered two WifiBuddies because our family was separated for part of our time in Japan. We were travelling throughout the countryside and had no interruption in service except inside train tunnels. We relied on our constant wifi access for everything from GPS and train schedules to dining options on the go. We were also in constant contact with our daughter while she traveled without us. The ordering process and pick-up at the airport were both simple. The equipment is straightforward and compact. We were very pleased with our WifiBuddies.

Fast, reliable and easy to pick up and return. Would highly recommend.

I rented this service and I am glad I did it, this save us many times of being lost on the train stations and while walking since the free Wifi service is limited shops and some restaurants.I would rent it again without think it twice!! Very recommendable service is very stable 24/7

I would recommend the Japan WifiBuddy to anyone. It was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived and 4 of us used Wifi for 16 days without any problems. A great system and service.

Was exactly what it was said to be. Fast, worked perfectly and very very convenient.

Japan WifiBuddy was great throughout my whole trip. There was never any drop in service and it was consistent and reliable! The only thing was that I definitely had to carry around an additional battery pack since the battery dies pretty quick, but other than that, it was what I expected and more.

Everything about the WifiBuddy worked really well—picking it up after arrival at Narita Airport was very easy; the internet speeds were great; we always had access to wifi as we traveled in Tokyo and Hokkaido. Thanks for the excellent service!

Was really handy. Battery actually lasted really long. If I disconnected during the day it was sometimes hard to reconnect without holding the device next to my phone in areas with many signals. And it didn't work everywhere like hills or theme parks. But overall very useful and decent signal and speed.

Works like a charm. Lasts 75% of the day, not an issue with the included battery. Had no issues wigh coverage during my 35 day trip. My only complaint is the lack of GPS underground on the subway, but that's to be expected, that's more the service than the device itself. Highly recommended

I rented a Wifi Buddy for 2 weeks while I was in Japan. I needed to communicate frequently with my husband who was ill and back in New Zealand. Everything about renting a Wifi Buddy is excellent. The website was informative and easy to use. It was available for me at my first hotel. It got really good and consistent reception, even when I was in quite isolated national parks and rural areas in Hokkaido. It was easy to use, with very clear instructions. And returning it at the Post Office at Narita airport was so straight forward. It is great value for money and a must-have for travelling in Japan, especially in rural areas.

The wifi buddy was good to have for our trip to Japan. The only issue was that the wifi buddy would die fast. Didn't last as long as I thought it would. The power block we received came in handy so that helped.

I bought 2x unlimited wifi mobile from WifiBuddy and had no problem with connection during our stay in Japan. I needed to extend the stay in Japan so that I requested the extended days to hire the Wifi and they swiftly sorted out my request. First class product and customer service.

Excellent concept & sure helped keep our data costs down. Unfortunately you only had the diamond package left and we didn’t come close to using that much data. Will use you again when we travel to Japan.

The wifi buddy is a must have for travelling around japan. I tried to use the wifi around the city in maccas and starbucks and train stations etc last year but found them to be unreliable and hard to use. This year i travelled with the wifi buddy and it was better than my hotel wifi. i had service everywhere i went and the battery lasts most of the day but the backup battery can last the rest of the day just need to charge it all up again at night. i have recomended these to friends going in a few weeks and would recomend them to anyone who asks. A must have when travelling Japan.

great WFI, great coverage. we even had a power bank included in the package. easiest way to pick up and drop.

We picked up our Diamond WifiBuddy at Narita Airport just as instructed when we reserved and paid for the rental online. We had absolutely NO problems with it! It proved invaluable on our trip and this company was so easy to work with :)

I cannnot fault the service. Everything was very organised and VERY easy to deal with. Even in Tokashiki Island the connection was amazing! Wouldn’t have survived in japan without you!!!!

I travelled with a group, and everyone else rented SIM cards. Half of them had issues during our trip and had to piggyback on my hotspot. I had plenty of data to spare. The next time I visit Tokyo I will rent the wifibuddy again.
