had no issues in two weeks in Japan with my Diamond Wifibuddy. Highly recommended and great value vs competitors.

We used the wifibuddy for 9 days in Tokyo, Kyoto and Okinawa with no issues. We relied on it exclusively as we were sightseeing for getting around and looking up places. Since we had it on all day, it was nice to have the provided back up battery to recharge in the middle of the day while we were out. Pick up and drop off was easy. We did not have any connectivity issues but we didn't really go off the beaten path.

We rented the WifiBuddy with Unlimited data, and everything from pick up to drop off was so simple. We had it from literally the moment we arrived in Haneda airport to when we checked in on our return flight. The device itself had a great battery life and was extremely easy to connect to, and came with a backup charger. It worked great and it was wonderful to be connected literally everywhere so we could always look up directions or business hours. I can't imagine trying to navigate Japan any other way, the WifiBuddy made our trip so much easier!

I used the Wifi buddy for 2 months with the diamond package and it fitted all my needs for uploading videos to youtube. The overall price for renting it for that period was relatively cheap considering I had top speed nearly everywhere I went with the exception of a couple of places. But even then the speed didn't drop too much and was still a good connection. The only problem I had was with the external battery pack as it on charged the device less than half before the battery pack lost power even though it was fully charged. And also the fact that you need a credit card to rent it. Over all I would definitely recommend using Japan Wifi buddy

Connection was perfect everywhere, where we have been in Japan. Receipt and drop-off were hassle-free and fast, overall cost is reasonable.
