The WifiBuddy worked great, I
The WifiBuddy worked great, I was able to use it at all locations with barely any problems. If i was taking a side trip, once in a while the WifiBuddy internet didn't connect for a minute. The other thing would be using Google Maps, not sure if the problem was with the portable wifi or the app. Sometimes the map would put me far away from where i was and the directions wouldn't work because of that.

A must when travelling to Tokyo
The Diamond Wifibuddy is a must every time we visit Japan, especially Tokyo. We used it mostly to navigate using our phone’s GPS. It’s a life saver when it comes to navigating the subway and train system. We would be lost and confused without wifi connection. Service was all around great and easy pick up and return.

10/10 would rent again!
My girlfriend and i used the diamond Service for our 14 day long Trip across Japan. We picked Up the pocket WiFi without any Problems at the airport and used it the whole time without any Networks problems. Also the drop off at the end was very easy because of the already labeled envelope we got along with the pocket WiFi. The japanwifibuddy is the best additional travel companion you can wish for.   • We include thorough instructions, via email, through our website and with customer service.
  • These are data-only SIM Cards. Carrier-based voice calls and text messaging are NOT supported. However, data-based messaging and telephony solutions such as Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp, Line etc. are supported.
  • To avoid provider validation complications, in some cases when users order far ahead of their actual trip, we will send a confirmation email, with a separate QR code later on, closer to the departure date.
