Renting the WiFi Buddy was easy and reasonable for our trip to Japan. The delivery and return of the Buddy was simple and set up was quick. Would definitely recommend to anyone on a trip who is in need of consistent WiFi.

Pickup and return process was very easy. Picked up from the airport and dropped off at the airport before checking in our flight. Customer support was very helpful with fast responses when I had questions. The speed was pretty fast as well since we got the diamond wifibuddy, but it could definitely be faster. Great on land, in trains, the metro, underground shopping areas, and even when we were close to shore on our cruise. And it connects multiple devices as long as they’re in relative proximity. It was delivered to our hotel and we just drop it in The mailbox at the airport when we left.

5 days prior venturing off to Japan with our 2 year old whom is mad for Thomas the tank Engine and all things dinasour.... we found ourselves wondering what we would do for internet coverage for not only navigating around Japan but also for when we needed sanity time and yes dear Thomas is our peace bringer. Our provider in Australia did not have roaming available in Japan and whilst we knew that Japan has WiFi all around we wanted something seamless that we didn't have to agree to other company's terms and put our data security on the line. We found our solution with Japan's WiFi Buddy. This small pocket WiFi had coverage everywhere!! Even in rather remote parts in Okinawa. We had unlimited data - navigating was a breeze and FAST! Our son got his shows on demand without interruptions and that meant a happy mum and dad during sanity time! We had it delivered to our hotel in Shinagawa and after travelling throughout Japan for 2 weeks we returned it at Narita airport in the paid return envelope that was provided right befor security check at the foodcourts post box. It came with easybto follow instructions and a spare battery that we didn't end up using as the device lasted us 13 hours. We are more than delighted with our find and are definately recommending it to our friends. Don't hesitate- get it and you will see for yourself.
