Though a tad bit more expensive than other services, this one is great! Pickup and dropoff were easy and convenient, and the service for the Wifi was great as well... just wish I would have reserved a faster/higher capacity one earlier. Would definitely use again if I get to return back to Japan!

The entire experience was smooth. Once I ordered online, Tre followed up with an email quickly and verified which airline I used so he could send me the right map for the airport post office. Pick up was very easy and in the package was everything he promised. The Mifi worked very well. I only used it for GPS since we did a lot of walking from place to place and the mifi lasted for 8-9 hours straight. Included was a spare battery, but I only had to use that once. Would use again if I go to Japan again.

I used JapanWifiBuddy for a month when I was in Japan and it was absolutely great. The battery of the device lasted all day long and no matter where I traveled I always had a signal, in all the cities I went to and even in the mountains and on islands. The service was great, email responses were very quick and when I had a question it was promptly answered. The price was very good and when I think about how much I used it when I was on the road I can't imagine having done my trip without it. When I go back again I will definitely use JapanWifiBuddy again.

I was very impressed with the service received from Tre who was super patient with me and my many questions. We had a bit of a hiccup with the post office not finding the parcel for pick up but we had that sorted out quickly by Tre after the tracking number was provided. The router functioned as promised in all our locations across various parts of Japan. Although free wifi is available in various places they all required some account to be set up which isn't necessarily what I want to do. Highly recommended for any tourists visiting Japan who need to stay connected. Thanks Tre!

I had excellent service from this company. I corresponded a few times with Tre (whom I think is the owner), and he was very helpful and responsive! I arrived at Narita airport Terminal one. The picked up the package at the post office at the airport; I just had to show my passport. Immediately, I used the wifi. The device is small and easy to carry around. There was also a back up battery pack just in case the device runs out of battery. I never had to use it though. I tend to shut the wifi off when I don't need it just to save the battery. Thank goodness I had this or I would be lost...I used google maps the majority of the time to get around. When I arrived back at the airport to go home, I returned the device in a pre-paid envelope and dropped it off at the post office at the airport. Overall, I was extremely happy from this company. I highly recommend them!
