Reliable
Super duper reliable, and very handy hotspot! We had connection on whenrever we went, from Tokyo to Tsukuba to Mount Takao to Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. We've had three phones connected to it, or two phones and a laptop connected to it! Fast connection on mobile everytime. We've experienced moderate loading speeds on MacBook, but fast loading speeds on mobile phones.

Great experience overall!
Had a really great experience from pickup to drop-off! The price was very reasonable and the service was consistent throughout my trip to Japan, even in rural areas on the Shinkansen. I would recommend renting one of these for your next trip, as I will be renting one again on my next trip, too!

  • Requires a SIM Unlocked device with esim capability. If your device is locked, please contact your carrier to unlock it.
  • We include thorough instructions, via email, through our website and with customer service.
  • These are data-only SIM Cards. Carrier-based voice calls and text messaging are NOT supported. However, data-based messaging and telephony solutions such as Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp, Line etc. are supported.
  • To avoid provider validation complications, in some cases when users order far ahead of their actual trip, we will send a confirmation email, with a separate QR code later on, closer to the departure date.
