Very easy process, found out very reliable.

It was waiting at my hotel when I arrived in Tokyo. Travelling all around Japan for two weeks, it didn't miss a beat. Easy to use and fast speeds, meant that I never had an issue with it. Travelling made easy!

Excellent and zero service issues. Whether it was in the Tokyo metro or speeding thru tunnel on the Shinkansen - service was perfect and high speed. I had it for 10 days, but needed an extension due to typhoon Hagibis - no problem. High quality customer service. From ease of pick up at NRT airport to return via pre-stamped envelope from WiFi Buddy’s team.

Prompt, helpful customer service. Flexible with length of rental even when dealing with typhoon. Easy to pick up at airport and mail back. Happy with battery life, didn’t need the backup battery provided. Happy with quality and speed of connection.

Worked great and really appreciated that a charger was provided. Since we were out and about all day, I needed the charger. The process was made so easy. I picked up the package at the airport coming in to Japan and dropped it off at the airport post office when we left the country. So convenient! When the typhoon caused our stay to be extended, I sent an email and was able to use the WiFi for another few days...life saver! Thank you. Highly recommend!!

Having Wi-fi 24/7 really helped elevate our enjoyment of our trip.

We originally rented the WifiBuddy for about 16 days, and it was easy to pick up at the airport and get running. We depended on it for all sorts of things, and battery life wasn't an issue as long as we charged it and the power bank each night. Our flight got cancelled due to Typhoon Hagibis and customer service was quick to respond about extending our rental for a few days, which was no issue. We'll definitely be back to Japan and will use this service again.

This pocket wifi completely transformed our trip. It was sent to our first hotel so we were able to have it from the moment we arrived in Tokyo. We had no connection issues at all and were able to easily make our way around the city using google maps and various travel apps, as we always had internet on hand. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without it.

I will be renting again on every subsequent trip! Everything was easy and seamless, and my WiFi was fast from Tokyo to Hakata Island,!

Internet speed was great — but the hot spot liked to turn off periodically, and wouldn't hold a charge. We had to keep it connected to the extra battery almost constantly.

This really is a great service. Clear, simple instructions, great speed and signal. The only time we couldn't get a signal was in the very most remote parts of Hokkaido. I'll definitely get a WiFi Buddy next time I'm in Japan.

My WiFi Buddy worked as advertised. I had good reception at LTE speed for most of my trip. Only draw back was the battery life on my unit, I had to constantly recharge the unit.

Process was easy and the data connection was great.
