I rented a wifi buddy during my first trip to Japan and I have to say, it's great! It provided web access even in the remotest areas of Japan - countryside, on the Shinkansen, etc., with no problems whatsoever. The staff make renting and using the wifibuddy really easy and convenient. I will most definitely use one again in the future and for certain go with Japan Wifi Buddy! Highly recommended!

The router I rented was most useful for my Hokkaido trip and the reception was excellent. Renting procedure was simple and convenient. Tre was very helpful in answering any questions.

We had an issue getting our order delivered on base housing even though BlackCat does deliver on base housing. For some reason the address couldn't be found. The owner communicated very well with us throughout the whole transaction. We ended up not having the mifi for the first 2-3 days of trip and had our ordered delivered to the New Sanno hotel instead. It was very convenient to arrive at our hotel to find our order there. The owner refunded us the amt of days we didn't use without hassle and didnt charge extra to deliver our order to the alternative location! We ordered the silver and worked well at Disneyland, DisneySea, Sanrio Puroland and on the trainrides. Definitely very helpful when using Google for trainrides. Just remember to refresh the screen between stops so you dont miss your stops. My hubby and I got one for each of us for when we separated, which came in handy. wherever we went, internet was fast and reliable. We loved our little wifibuddy and felt sad saying goodbye! Questions were always answered quickly, and our machine was waiting for us when we arrived at the hotel. Top notch!
