The shipping was flawless. Internet connection in major cities was great. But it didn't work in rural area.

I used the Platinum Plus WifiBuddy for 13 days and it was really useful/helpful for me during my trip. I used it during my stay in Tokyo and it also worked when I went on other prefectures (Saitama, Kanagawa and Chiba). The extra battery pack is really helpful because the device goes low battery during the late evening everytime that I'm going back home to my accommodation during my trip daily. I haven't had problems with the internet connection during my stay in Japan and I'm considering to use it again when I go back to Japan someday. Thank you so much for the great product and service! My girlfriend and I spent 9 days in Tokyo and our WifiBuddy was essential. We used it everyday and it never failed us. The wifi worked flawlessly throughout Tokyo and during our side-trip to Hakone. It died once on us, but only because we forgot to charge it the night before, however, we had the spare battery they provided which saved the day! Our experience was definitely improved because of the WifiBuddy as we used Google Maps and Google Translate every day. We will definitely rent out another one during future trips to Japan.

During our 10 days trip in Japan, the Platinum Plus wifibuddy worked as a charm. Perfect product. The line and the speed was always stable, powerful and reliable. We used to have 4 devices connected and everything worked ok. I strongly suggest to choose this product if you are planning a trip in Japan, you can use Google Maps, your emails, calling with whatsapp and even uploading your photos without issues and with a quality of line that impressed us so much.
