We all want things in life to be easy, simple but work well and provide consistent and excellent service. We booked our Platinum Plus through Japan Wifi Buddy - we landed in Tokyo Narita after a week in India - but pick up from the post office was painless and took about 20 seconds! The package contained all we needed -a pouch with a wifi device with dual SIM cards for rural and city areas (I strongly recommend this for 100% coverage) a back up battery to charge on the go (not all rental firms include this) and a package to post the pouch when you leave Japan. This device was superb and provided my wife and I 3 weeks of coverage from Tokyo, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka and Okinawa. We used our hotels wifi for heavy downloads and uploads - and the wifi buddy for maps, navigation and translations. The ordering service was superb and well priced and the device performed outstandingly well. 5 stars. I would thoroughly recommend Japan Wifi Buddy and thier Platinum Plus package.

The service from wifi buddy was fantastic, instructions in English were very clear, and the wifi buddy worked all over Japan. We used 4 devices a lot of the time linked to it and it rarely faltered. I was sceptical as to whether we would need it but there was much less wifi coverage than there is in Europe so it was extremely useful whenever we were out and about. I'd highly recommend this item and this company!

I rented a Wifi Buddy device for a week. It worked perfectly the entire week and was a huge help in navigating Japan. Customer service was excellent and receiving the device at my hotel and sending it back were simple.

This is my fifth time renting from Wifibuddy. This time, I brought 12 Americans to Japan with me. Since we were staying in different places, I ordered three of them- two silvers, and a platinum. I'll never visit Japan without them! MUST HAVE.
