Easy to use and great service!!

I had to reboot few times but overall a great experience... it made it easy for me to navigate around Japan...

It was amazing! The only problem is that my wifibuddy gets very hot!! So i was worried that it might exploted

The package with all the necessities was in our hotel on arrival. Everything was included - the portable battery (really needed!), two cables - for battery and for device itself, the 2-USB ports cube to plug in for charging and easy to understand instruction on how to use. Everything worked perfect. Returning was also a no-brainer: pre-paid envelope was included, just dropped it our hotel on check out, and they mailed it for us. The speed and coverage were great, we never stayed unconnected during all our trip in three different cities. Thank you!

Second time using Japan WiFi buddy and extremely happy with the service - both with the Jwb team who are on top of everything, reply extremely fast with answers to questions, and of course the internet service. The service from the diamond package performed everywhere I've been to in Japan. Whether I was in the southwest of Fukuoka, or the North of Hokkaido. I got service everywhere in between! If there is any sort of complaint - which is at no fault of the Jwb team - it would be the battery life of the units, and I am being extremely critical now - the units last for the majority of the day, but the Jwb team includes a power bank in the package, so it is not

Very easy collection and drop off at airport at Narita Airport without complications, it's ready to use. It worked very fine everywhere in Japan, big or small cities. We didn't have any problems in any city from Tokyo to Hiroshima. The provided charging battery allows you to stay connected the entire day, so no worries. Just remember to charge both everyday.

This was perfect for our vacation to Japan. So easy to use. We traveled in a group of 4 and it supported everyone's phones throughout the day. The external battery came in handy, too.

Great service, full package with all the equipment you need including leads and back up battery and excellent customer service with a delivery to our motel as we arrived after hours.

The Wi-Fi Buddy worked like a charm. It was incredibly beneficial to always have that connection to the internet in a new place. We could look up train times, directions, movie times and restaurants on the spot and stay in contact with friends along the way.

Everything was exactly as described. Easy pickup from Narita airport. Great wifi for our entire trip. It was even better wifi than our airbnb!

Collection and drop off at airport post office and post box was straight forward. Really useful to have with us. Worked well. Wasn’t fully charged on collection. Battery lasted about half a day if on all the time. But came with charging pack, cables and adapter. Very happy

Never had an issue with the WiFi. It was fast with multiple devices and reliable when we were in the mountains hiking

We were in Tokyo for a week in May 2019 and ordered the Diamond WifiBuddy for our time there. It was fantastic from start to finish. When we arrived at the airport it was exactly where described, we had signal almost everywhere we went and the portable charger that came with it was just a bonus. Excellent speeds too. Really helped us navigating and to enjoy our time there even more. I would not hesitate to get another on my next trip!

Good service. Range isn't the best and battery died earlier than expected, but we were able to manage.

Renting the WiFi Buddy was easy and reasonable for our trip to Japan. The delivery and return of the Buddy was simple and set up was quick. Would definitely recommend to anyone on a trip who is in need of consistent WiFi.

Pickup and return process was very easy. Picked up from the airport and dropped off at the airport before checking in our flight. Customer support was very helpful with fast responses when I had questions. The speed was pretty fast as well since we got the diamond wifibuddy, but it could definitely be faster. Great on land, in trains, the metro, underground shopping areas, and even when we were close to shore on our cruise. And it connects multiple devices as long as they’re in relative proximity. It was delivered to our hotel and we just drop it in The mailbox at the airport when we left.

5 days prior venturing off to Japan with our 2 year old whom is mad for Thomas the tank Engine and all things dinasour.... we found ourselves wondering what we would do for internet coverage for not only navigating around Japan but also for when we needed sanity time and yes dear Thomas is our peace bringer. Our provider in Australia did not have roaming available in Japan and whilst we knew that Japan has WiFi all around we wanted something seamless that we didn't have to agree to other company's terms and put our data security on the line. We found our solution with Japan's WiFi Buddy. This small pocket WiFi had coverage everywhere!! Even in rather remote parts in Okinawa. We had unlimited data - navigating was a breeze and FAST! Our son got his shows on demand without interruptions and that meant a happy mum and dad during sanity time! We had it delivered to our hotel in Shinagawa and after travelling throughout Japan for 2 weeks we returned it at Narita airport in the paid return envelope that was provided right befor security check at the foodcourts post box. It came with easybto follow instructions and a spare battery that we didn't end up using as the device lasted us 13 hours. We are more than delighted with our find and are definately recommending it to our friends. Don't hesitate- get it and you will see for yourself.
