We couldn’t have done without the WiFi buddy. It was so good to have as we could use maps to find where we were going. Definitely recommend to anyone going to japan as there is very little English

The best way to be connected in Japan. We went all over and never lost connection. We also used international roaming from our cellphone provider and had difficulties with that, but the WifiBuddy was always connected.

I rented a wifi device while vacationing in Tokyo and had it delivered to my hotel. The hotel gave it to me when I checked in. The package came with the wifi box, a small power box for recharging the wifi box, and two wires. It also came with a return envelope which I simple put everything back in and had the hotel ship it back to WifiBuddy. The price is reasonable. Would highly recommend.

We picked up our WifiBuddy at the Narita post office and used it for 9 days with great success. Having it along enabled us to get directions and allowed communications between us when some were at the hotel while others were out. Well worth the cost of around US$ 75 for our trip. It would have been quite a challenge without it.

It was so easy to rent a portable wi-fi unit from Diamond Wi-FiBudddy!!! It was delivered on time to my hotel, in working condition, with all the appropriate cables and a portable battery for recharging on the go. Easy to connect to my phone and I had no connection problems. I would highly recommend this company!

Couldn't be happier with the service. Package was ready for pickup at the airport's post office booth when we got there. Got us connected for the entirety of our trip. The spare battery came in handy too being out long hours most days. And returning everything was a simple task of putting the equipment into the included return envelope and dropping it off at the post office before our flight. Thank you so much!

Using Japan Wifi buddy was the best decision I made on our trip to Japan! Pick up from Haneda Airport was super easy as was posting back the equipment at the end of our trip. The Wifi device lasted all day with the included battery pack. Wifi service was impeccable and only dropped out once or twice in our three weeks in Japan. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Help desk was extremely helpful. I forgot to collect Changi wifi before immigration. There was no manpower from Changi wifi to bring the router for me. Customer service was poor, can’t speak well and not helpful at all. I managed to searched for japan wifi buddy. Really great service and wifi was delivered to their local post office in time. I was able to collect upon arrival. Router was great, good speed and return if the router was so easilybdinr. Thank you!

Its was really use fully and handy and easy to use.

Everything worked perfectly. The package was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived in Osaka. The Diamond unit was great. Speed was way faster than home even with 5 of us connected and we found coverage was excellent everywhere we travelled. Return process was simple and easy by popping the prepaid and pre-addressed envelope in the post at the airport as we flew home.

As the rental period went on, the device occasionally shut off on its own. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very good value for money

I had almost no problems with this device. Occasionally it would lose connection but that was fairly rare. The battery life was probably about 8 hours but it comes with a portable power bank to keep you charged. For the price it was totally worth it!

Fast and convenient wifi rental service. Ive used it twice so far with no issues.

There were some issues with getting disconnected at some areas, but rebooting the router resolved the problem. Internet speed was really fast especially around urban areas and overall the wifi has been very useful throughout our stay in Japan. Oh the staff were very helpful in answering our request and queries, thank you very much!

Renting a portable WiFi through JapanWifiBuddy during my visit was as smooth as it could be! From pick-up to drop-off, the service was perfect. The unit, chargers, cables, and portable battery were all in excellent condition, and the large pouch was extremely handy while traveling. I hope to return to Japan soon, and I'll definitely be renting a portable WiFi again through JapanWifiBuddy!

we used Wi-Fi buddy for a recent 13 day trip and had great service both before and during our trip and interacting with the staff. Picking up and dropping off the unit was super easy And we had more than enough data for both of our phones to connect to the Internet and social media throughout our trip. Great coverage everywhere from big cities like Tokyo, to the top of Mount Fuji, and even in smaller towns. It was so helpful having constant Internet access to use Google Maps, translators, etc. Thanks WiFi Buddy!

Easy airport pickup and great communication from the company. Second time using Japan WifiBuddy, and would use it again!

I rented the silver package for my partner who was on duty in Tokyo for 3 weeks. I must say it was the best decision and the service was excellent. We were able to keep in touch throughout even when they went to Kobe. Would recommend it anyone traveling to Japan for longer than 4 days.

Excellent communication throughout the entire process from pickup to drop off, JWB provided great customer service. There was a nationwide outage for Softbank (out of JWB's control) but they were prompt to respond to my e-mail inquiry regarding the downtime. It was easy to pick up and drop off the device and the value for the length of time I needed it was incredible. If you're comparing services and you're looking for high-speed reliable mobile wifi, go with Japan WifiBuddy. I previously used another 3 letter service and while they were good, the price was nearly double or triple. I'll be using Japan WifiBuddy in the future and recommending it to everyone I know that will travel to Japan in the future. Thanks again for the great service!

We got two diamond wifi buddy's and it worked great. Never an issue, if one ran out we would just use our other one and we also had the battery back ups just in case
