Everything went smoothly! We picked it up right where we were told it would be, it turned on and had plenty of battery right from the get go, the battery pack and extra cords and plug kept everything topped off, the yellow pouch was perfect for keeping the whole kit together, and we returned it by dropping it into a post office box with zero hassle. The pocket wifi very rarely rebooted itself (mostly in Osaka, for some reason) but was usually back in less than twenty seconds so we never really noticed except as a super minor hiccup. We had wifi everywhere, even in the Hida region mountains and down in subway stations. We ended up using only 40 gigs over 3 weeks so this plan was perfect. Thank you so much!

Must have gadget for anyone travelling through Japan. Very straightforward, delivered to our first hotel, simply switch on and use. We would have struggled to negotiate some of the cities without it

Very easy to set up and use. Needed to extend my rental for one day, due to a missed flight. The team responded to my email request within the hour, and extended my rental. Will use again when I get to come back to Japan.

I love it. Arrived on time and internet connection was great. No problem at all. And price is good too compare with other company. I will for sure to use it again.

No problems for our 9 day trip. Highest tier was more than enough for 3 people. Easy to return and pickup, if I visit again I’ll do the same thing.

Clear instructions, simple arrangement, no problems

Pick up was easy, reception was great even underground, and battery life was never an issue thanks to the portable battery.

The device seemed to work everywhere and had decent bandwidth. The battery life could be better but the provided backup helps with that. It restarted randomly a couple times which was annoying.

WiFi service never let us down, from the equipment being at our arrival hotel al the way through our trip with reception never an issue Highly recommend

Everything worked great and I appreciated being able to watch the MLB playoffs while abroad!

We were visiting Japan for two weeks and wanted to have access to the internet to confirm train times and find restaurants, hours for for shrines and sites, etc. This service was a great solution. I reserved and paid for the device while still in the US, then got confirmation that it had been sent to Narita. It was super easy to pick it up at the airport post office; I just told them my name and showed them my confirmation number, and they had it to me in a minute. We had no issues with it during our trip, and were pleased that it came with an external battery so we could easily keep it charged. And we only used a fraction of the allotted 100GB of data, so really there is no need to be skimpy on internet use if you need it! We will definitely use the service for our future trips!

Exceptional signal all across Japan (Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku). Didn’t experience any throttling or data limit and we used it all day, every day.

I changed my pickup location after I submitted my order. Aftrr couple email message exchange, it was done. When I picked up my order, the packet had good working equipment and instructions. Good service and I would recommend to rent from tgem.

All I can say is "wow"! We landed at Haneda, and our Japan WifiBuddy was waiting for us as promised. We were online within 3 minutes. The unit worked perfectly all the way from Tokyo to Hokkaido. It even outperformed the wifi that was available at the ryokan we stayed at, so we used it the entire trip. Highly recommended!

This little wifi device made our trip SO much easier. Navigating without Google Maps would have made the whole holiday impossible but we were able to navigate, post on social media, check emails, etc. The device is simple to operate and charges quickly. An absolute life saver!

Best decision I made before going to japan. I used the maps function each day to get me around on my own. I wouldn’t have enjoyed my stay as much if I didn’t have this service.
