Truly exceptional services. Fast, reliable, and hassle free. The WiFi never failed us. The battery lasts about 9 hours + 2 more hours from the battery bank. Enough for my daily use.

After doing a lot of research and shopping around for pocket WiFi's to use on my 3 week trip to Japan, I decided to go with Japan WifiBuddy due to the great reviews and price point. I could not have made a better decision. The package was delivered to my hotel before my arrival and I was able to turn it on, connect with no issues and get going. It was incredibly reliable and lasted the whole day only needing to be charged at most once a day if we were using it constantly and were venturing on through the night. I will definitely be renting from Japan WifiBuddy again for my next trip to Japan!

This was perfect for my two week trip through Japan.

WiFi was really dependable. It did take about 30 minutes for mine to work, but after that I didnt have any issues for the two weeks I had it.

Worked very well with great speeds during my stay in Tokyo and Kyoto! It had a great battery life as well lasted through most of the day before I had to recharge it.

The device was a godsend. Without an international data plan we had no way to navigate the complex cities of Japan. Having access to high speed internet at all times of the day was exactly what we needed to keep in touch with family and friends while offering us directions and restaurant reviews on the fly.

Great communication, easy pick and drop off. Wifi service was great for our 4 phones. Will highly recommend. Thank you.

Japan Wifibuddy made my experience in Japan much more easier. Although the Diamond package was a little bit pricey, it was well worth it. Their customer service was great and gave me very specific instructions on how and where to pick up the device at the airport. The device worked well with no problems all around Tokyo. I was also getting great signal underground while using the subways. The device's battery life lasted me throughout the whole day but they also provided me an external battery just in case. Overall, I am happy with the service and I'll definitely use the same package when I come back to Japan. Thanks!

Easy peasy! Japan WifiBuddy made my wife and my trip to Japan all the more flawless. We stayed connected at every turn. It's an excellent service I would 10/10 use them again.

The device was not ready for pick-up at the hotel due to an issue with the delivery. This meant we could not use the device on the first day of our holiday. However, when we received the device it worked well. The connection speed was outstanding. Battery life however was quite limited (less than one day) and we had to reboot the device every once in a while.

Never ran out of wifi but I was on the highest plan think I only used about 30gb a day between 3 people. That was including YouTube. Would use again for sure. Sometimes wifi would not register if it was buried too deep in my bag so I would just move it and touch the side button and it was fine. it worked on the 5th station at Mount Fuji so I am happy. 5 stars.

Fast and reliable service from Tokyo all the way to Hiroshima. Highly recommended!

We rented the Diamond Wifi router and everything went very well: seamless delivery at the airport, very easy usage (switch it on, insert WPA key in your phone and done). We got network access everywhere we went and the return procedure as easy as the delivery: we just gave the return envelope at the Narita T1 post office and they took care of everything. Only small issue is that we weren't able to make a full day of usage without connecting the backup battery, generally near the end of the day, but otherwise perfect little device and great service.

No hassle,easy setup, great service and great performance. I would rent it again the next time I visit Japan. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

It was my second time to Japan and like the first time, I never had a problem with my diamond plan WiFi unit. I was able to take it everywhere and it would work great! I highly recommend this plan if you’re planning to go all over Japan.

We were three people logged in for two and a half weeks and had constant service everywhere. It worked in the cities and the country, even on our hikes. We used the back up battery on days with heavy usage. It was waiting for us at the hotel when we arrived and we dropped it into a post office box at the airport before leaving. Could not have been easier, we highly recommend it!

Was really impressed with this pocket wifi, just wish it was availiable in other countries as well as Japan. Was connected nearly all the time even on a coach going 80 mph and in the underground subway lines, it really did a great job of keeping me connected to organise with my friends when we decided to go our own ways around Tokyo. Would definetly get one again if I revisit Japan =)

The Diamond Wifi Buddy was awesome. It worked through my entire trip in Japan, was easy enough to use and set up, and worked across all the cities and destinations we travelled, including regional areas. Battery life is excellent and you even get a spare external battery charge it. Easy pick up from the air port and return. 10/10 would use again.

Worked everywhere I traveled in Japan. I was able to communicate with friends via WhatsApp for free while in airplane mode. Also able to access Netflix via google chrome so we could watch American tv. Showed up on time and was waiting at hotel for me upon check in. Return was easy as well. Highly recommend. Will use again during future visits.

Brilliant

I rented it for 2 weeks while in Tokyo and in the mountains around Japan. The signal was very good all around even in the mountains. Communication, delivery and return was excellent. Recommended

Pick up, use, and drop off were easy. Everything worked great.
